Hello, I am really pleased to introduce myself as the moderator for the music thread. I think music is a great way to express yourself and can really help to articulate difficult feelings.
I am a freelance writer and musician and I hope this forum will be a place where people can share their songs, lyrics, works in progress and in the spirit of collaboration we can help each other with tips and advice and positive encouragement.
I would like to borrow the follwowing text from my fellow moderator Nick, because I couldn't have expressed it better;
If you would like constructive criticism for your work, please state so in the thread title or somewhere in the post. If you are commenting on others' work, please refrain from making criticism unless the author has asked for feedback. Derogatory comments and insults will be deleted and result in an immediate ban for the offending user. This is a zero tolerance policy, and it will be enforced.
